We are looking for an experienced creative professional to produce and support the development of high-quality home-grown ideas and commissioned work in partnership with the local community to build its creative capacity and increase participation, access and engagement.
Working with the Project Lead, Claire Tymon, the Community Producer will support the artistic and strategic vision and ensure they are genuinely community led and driven, and support the development, delivery and evaluation of the programme. The role will require working closely with community partners, artistic mentors, organisations, voluntary groups, artists and other stakeholders and partners to fulfil the aims and objectives of the GCT programme.
This will be a freelance contract by the Glossop Creative Trust. Initial contract is 30 days at £200 a day rate.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in working in a community context, building partnerships, developing and delivering creative arts projects, and a collaborative way of working as well as production and/or creative project management skills. You will also share our values of sustainability, empowerment, excellence and diversity, including our commitment to minimise our carbon footprint in delivering our activities.
